County of Lake Department of Probation

|
|
The commissions are, in effect, an investigative and advisory part of the Superior court. The Juvenile Justice Commission looks over children in the court system or children who are wards of the court. It also inspects Juvenile Hall and group homes where children are detained, looks into the complaints that are brought against the system and makes recommendations on the findings. We are also responsible for trying to get prevention programs underway in the County.
