The Lake County Department of Social Services provides assistance benefits in the form of CalWORKS cash aid for Families, Medi-cal, CMSP, Food Stamps, and General relief. The Department also provides an array of services for families, children, and adults through the Public Authority, Section 8 Housing, and Child Welfare Services, as well as In-Home Supportive Services and Adult Protective Services.
