Lake Transit offers public transportation services throughout Lake County. Lake Transit offers low fares to everyone. Senior citizens (age 60 and over), and passengers with disabilities (as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act), qualify for discount fares. One or two small children (age six or under) may ride free with an adult.

Transportation Services Provided

The Lake Transit Authority provides direct transportation using private vehicles, vans and busses and has one or more lift-equipped vehicles. Mileage reimbursement is offered for volunteers. In addition, vouchers are available for bus passes.
