North Coast Opportunities Rural Communities Child Care

RCCC offers a variety of services to families, child care providers, and communities within Lake and Mendocino counties. Services can be accessed at RCCC offices located in Ukiah, Willits, Ft. Bragg, Clearlake, and Lakeport. The RCCC alternative Payment Program subsidizes childcare payments for 1500+ children each month in over 550 childcare facilities. Eligible families (based on total monthly income and family size) are those who are working, in school or training, or referred by a licensed professional to prevent the risk of abuse or neglect. The RCCC Child Care Food Program reimburses licensed family childcare homes for nutritious meals and snacks provided to the children in their care. More than 130 family childcare homes participate in this program, serving over 1,200 children each month. The Resource and Referral program provides the following assistance to families, childcare providers, and the community: Sharing knowledge of child care resources with parents, developing the child care profession through training and outreach.
