Sutter Lakeside Community Services

Sutter Lakeside Community Services is committed to intervention, support education, and prevention programs to improve total health status and family wellness for all residents of Lake County. It is our purpose to serve children, their families, and the elderly to achieve a sustainable healthy community. Our services include child abuse and neglect treatment, child abuse intervention, prevention and treatment services, domestic violence intervention, shelter and counseling, sexual assault response and counseling, a 24/7 community crisis line, child development and family support services, adolescent pregnancy prevention and youth development program, mental health counseling, low-income health care insurance outreach and application assistance, quality child development center, and teen parenting support.

Transportation Services Provided

SLCS provides transportation for clients to preventive pre-natal doctor visits, services with other agencies, and to individual or group activities.

Eligibility Requirements

Transportation services are provided to SLCS clients that are receiving services in our Teen Parenting Programs, Child Abuse Treatment Services, Domestic Violence assistance, or Sexual Assault.

Many of our clients are mothers with small children, people with disabilities, or low income.
